Located in the southeast corner of the Bakken oil reserve (right in the middle of the Williston Basin), Redvers has been a thriving Prairie community for more than a century. Named after Sir Redvers Buller in 1897, the town was incorporated in 1904. Today Redvers is home to nearly 1,000 permanent residents.
Agriculture, traditionally the foundation of the economy, is still one of the most vibrant industries in the area. Today, the oil and agriculture industries both play vital roles in the local economy.
